At the close of day 100, I have now listened to 8,984 songs. I was hoping to hit 9,000 on day 100, but it'll have to wait until Tuesday. All of the Beatles' speeches from the Anthology series were pretty interesting as on the sets they immediately go into various songs. These were like having a non-linear conversation with some great musicians.
Here are the favorites from Day 100:
- "Soul Man" by Sam & Dave
- "The Sound Of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel
- "Southern Accents" by Tom Petty
- "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills, & Nash
- "Southern Man" by Neil Young
- "Sowing The Seeds Of Love" by Tears For Fears
- "Space Oddity" by David Bowie
- "Speedo" by The Cadillacs
- "The Spider And The Fly" by The Rolling Stones
- "Spill The Wine" by Eric Burdon & War
- "Spinning Wheel" by Blood, Sweat & Tears
- "Spirit In The Night" by Bruce Springsteen
- "Spirit In The Sky" by Norman Greenbaum
