Notes
I finished up the last E song today and started the F's off with Otis Redding's "Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa (Sad Song)."  A fine start.
I found the three versions of "Feelin' Alright" to be rather interesting.  While Traffic's version is more straightforward, Joe Cocker's has the piano riff at the start which adds to the uniqueness of his version.  Gladys Knight's version is basically a cover of his cover.
There were some great "Fat" songs today (aside from Fat Albert):
  • "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen
  • "The Fat Man" by Fats Domino
  • "Fat Man in the Bathtub" by Little Feat
I also got to crank up "Feel Like a Number" by Bob Seger, because it's a perfect anthem for sitting as a nameless cog in a giant corporate machine.
There was also some great instrumental guitar today:
  • Three by John Williams (no relation to the Star Wars composer), all from Spanish Guitar Music
    • "Fandango"
    • "Fandanguillo, Op. 36"
    • "Fantasia"
  • Immediately following "Fantasia" was "Fantasia Suite" by Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, and Paco de Lucia from Friday Night in San Francisco.
More F's tomorrow...
