I merged yesterday and today for a couple reasons. Mostly, I just ran out of time to update last night, and I wanted to close the D's out, but that didn't happen until today. The other reason was the fact that I only got through 46 songs on Thursday, and one of those was the 38:44 "Drugs and Kittens I'll Drink to That" from the Mighty Mighty Bosstones that had a hidden track, featuring over 30 minutes of silence. Very exciting to actually listen to nothing. As a result, there wasn't much to highlight or comment on.
Not to be outdone, today I had "Echoes" by Pink Floyd from Meddle, which is 23:28. At least there was some amount of sound for the full amount. Strangely, it was followed by "Eclipse" from Dark Side of the Moon, which made for an interesting transition.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear "Ebony and Ivory" today. I didn't even know I had it until it came on. Great to hear that again.
D statistics coming soon!
