First song 8:14AM: "Brown Sugar" by the Rolling Stones from Sticky Fingers
Last song 4:16PM: "Call Me Up in Dreamland" by Van Morrison from His Band and The Street Choir
Highlights:
- Two versions of "Busted"
- Johnny Cash
- Ray Charles
- Two versions of "Bye Bye Love"
- Everly Brothers
- Simon & Garfunkel
- Three versions of "Caldonia"
- Two by B.B. King
- Muddy Waters - from The Band's Last Waltz
The B's are history... Started the C's off with "C'est La Vie" by Bob Seger. I'll hear the original version of this when I get to the Y's (in April, maybe?) when I hear "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry.
Also got to hear the great track "Brownsville Girl" by Bob Dylan, where he mostly talks, but it's a great story.
Heard some great blues artists today as well: B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Taj Mahal, Janis Joplin, T-Bone Walker, & Jimi Hendrix...
I'm in the middle of the "call" songs now...
