Notes:
Yesterday may have been the first day since I started that I only had one song by multiple artists.  "Pretty Boy Floyd" is one of my favorite Woody Guthrie songs, and I love all three versions I heard yesterday.
In case anyone out there is wondering about the two versions of "Poor Jenny," they were both recorded on the same day - one before lunch and one after - and are in different keys and tempos.
Here are my favorites from yesterday:
  • "Poison Ivy" by The Coasters
  • "Politician" by Cream
  • "Polythene Pam" by The Beatles
  • "Poor Little Fool" by Ricky Nelson
  • "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" by Linda Ronstadt
  • "Portobello Belle" by Dire Straits
  • "Positively Fourth Street" by Bob Dylan
  • "Possession" by Sarah McLachlan
  • "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis & The News
  • "Power to the People" by John Lennon
  • "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition" by Kay Kyser & His Orchestra
  • "Prelude/Angry Young Man" by Billy Joel
  • "Presence of the Lord" by Blind Faith
  • "Pressure" by Billy Joel
  • "The Pretender" by Jackson Browne
  • "Pretending" by Eric Clapton
  • "Pretoria" by The Smothers Brothers
  • "Pretty in Pink" by The Psychedelic Furs
