The medleys were interesting. I did finally get the other versions of "Kansas City" (I had heard the others back on 1/5/10), but there was also three of the four tracks from Booker T & The MG's McLemore Avenue, which was a cover of Abbey Road. The entire album is only four tracks, and I won't hear the final one until well into the S songs, as "Something" is a stand-alone track. Since it's arguably one of the best songs on Abbey Road, I see their point of recording it separately. And while I'm on the subject of Abbey Road, I heard "Mean Mr. Mustard" without "Polythene Pam." It was strange.
Here are my favorites from Tuesday:
- "Mary Jane's Last Dance" by Tom Petty
- "Mary Queen of Arkansas" by Bruce Springsteen
- "Massachusetts" by The Bee Gees
- "A Matter of Trust" by Billy Joel
- "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" by The Beatles
- "May I Have a Talk With You" by Stevie Ray Vaughan
- "Maybe" by Alison Krauss
- "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney
- "Maybellene" by Chuck Berry
- "Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard" by Paul Simon
- "Me and the Devil Blues" by Robert Johnson
- "Mediterranean Sundance / Rio Ancho" by Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucia
